We offer a variety of resources to view our artwork. We can customize your ideas through the use of computer software. You can also see one of our advertisements in magazines such as Washington Bride, Receptions and Meetings, Wedding Pages, and Where Magazine. Ice Kristals Inc. was recently included in a feature story on Ice Sculpting in “Restaurants USA”, the magazine of the National Restaurant Association, as well as The Washington Post and The Daily journal. You are also invited to view our portfolio at our Ice Sculpting facility in Northern Virginia and get the chance to see an original hand sculpted work of art.

How long will my Sculpture last?

There are many variables when it comes to the longevity of an Ice Sculpture. For example, temperature, direct sunlight, size of the sculpture, ventilation, indoor/outdoor event, all play a very important role. On the average, the life expectancy of an indoor sculpture is approximately 5-6 hours depending on design.

What will be the dimensions and weight of my Ice Sculpture?

A:

Ice Sculptures vary in size. An average Clinebell Ice Block weighs in at 300 pounds, and the dimensions are 40 x 20 x 10 inches. The weight of an average finished one-block sculpture will range between 150-200 pounds. This weight can be supported by most banquet tables. Other larger sculptures can weigh from 500 to 5000 pounds.

The price of an Ice Sculpture includes the following: Insulated transportation, delivery, set-up of sculpture, and drain tray complete with hardware and tubing.

How far in advance do I have to order my Ice Sculpture?

When placing an order, we suggest that you contact Ice Kristals Inc. as soon as you begin planning your party. All orders that are placed in advance, will have a secure delivery date. We do welcome last minute orders and will try our best to fulfill these request, however these types of orders might be subjected to a more limited selection.

Where should my Ice Sculpture be placed at the event?

A:

Ice Sculptures are normally placed at events in a large open area as the social centerpiece. At most wedding receptions, Ice Sculptures are preferred as the centerpiece on a buffet. It is not unusual to see these works of art placed on a table by themselves, a gift table, and cocktail reception areas. If you are unsure about placement, we suggest that you coordinate through your event planning specialist. Ice Kristals Inc. will only need a standard skirted banquet style table. Ice Sculptures can be elevated to enhance the grandeur of your memorable occasion.

How will my Ice Sculpture be delivered?

A:

Your Ice Sculpture will be delivered approximately thirty minutes to one hour prior to your event start time. One of our reliable fleet of company vans will deliver a perfectly insulated Ice Sculpture for your special occasion.

What is a freezer drop?

A:

A freezer drop is for our wholesale clients. We place the item in your freezer (packaged safely in a box for easy storage and handling) a day or two before the event and your staff sets the sculpture up on the day of the event.
